Who We Are
Porter's Travel Planning is a dream of ours that we are sharing with you. My wife and I have always loved to travel. We enjoy creating new memories and having a world of different experiences. We enjoy local travel where we try to have long weekends and explore the area around where we live in addition to seeing the world.
Before I became a travel planner I worked full time in the hospital. I would travel all across the country in my job helping out hospitals that did not have enough staff. This experience has taught me a lot. I have been to numerous states to live for thirteen weeks at a time and work.
One day while I was planning a family vacation with our extended family my wife told me I should be a travel planner because I always plan all of our vacations and the extended family vacations because of my past experiences. So Porter's Travel Planning became a reality.
I love putting trips together and planning what memories and exciting things we will get to do. My many experiences traveling for my job have taught me a lot about airfare connecting flights, and booking hotels. I have also learned a lot about exploring the area and visiting all the sites that different areas have to offer.

Giving Back
Meet Buddy (the black lab) and Benton (the chocolate lab). These are our two boys. They both came to us in desperate need of help. Buddy was due to a rehoming situation. He was bought as a present for someone which did not work out. We adopted him and he is the greatest gift we have ever received. Benton was abandoned when his owner died. He was 9 years old at the time. With no one to take care of him, he wound up at the Orphans of the Storm. He is a perfect dog.
I am so thankful for the rescues and all they do to help the animals in need. In order to help save more animals’ lives in addition to my regular support I want to give back more. That’s where you come in. For every vacation you book with me, I will donate a part of my profits to the local animal shelters. Let’s work together to save as many lives as possible.
